Working in partnership with parents

It is an accepted truth that parents are their child’s first and most enduring educators, who play a crucial role in their development.

At The Nursery Rooms, we place a great deal of significance on working with parents and encourage interaction between the parents and the practitioners in order to maintain a high standard of care.

All families are welcomed, valued, respected and listened to. We offer parents the opportunity to be involved, by developing an understanding of the individual child.

Parents are given the space and time to talk about their child’s achievements, interests, development and/or any concerns.

We believe that good communication between parents and the nursery is essential to ensure that the needs of each individual child and their family are met.

In a recent questionnaire the parents commented about what they liked about the nursery. Below is a sample of their comments:-

“Staff are excellent if my sons are happy then I am happy”

“It offers a safe and stimulating environment”

 “I am completely satisfied with the care my child receives and the progress he is making”
